Learning to Live Well With... Programme
When someone has a long-term condition, disability, or more than one, it can start to feel like a challenge to navigate what is most helpful. It can be frustrating when advice given does not quite fit your situation, and it is difficult to keep up with anything consistently.
It is run by a practitioner who previously ran groups, including complex pain, vestibular conditions, brain injury, hearing loss and PTSD. Should requests be enough for one group of a condition/disability, we can tailor for that particular condition or disability.
This is a general programme introducing practical concepts of neuroscience of being human and the challenges of modern life with what you live with. It will explore acceptance and compassion; and how this can be helpful but difficult, especially towards your own self. In a group setting it can sometimes be easier to be kinder to others, than yourself- and this can be helpful to notice. In this supportive session, we aim to build up your skills and strategies towards living well.
This is an 8 week x 2 hour programme at £20/session, totalling £160. Payment plans may be available.
